Job Description:

Verily is bringing up a new GCP organization and migrating products from a previous GCP organization to it. Plato, an in-house cloud resource management tool, is present on both organizations; products needs to be moved between these GCP organizations.

Needs:

· Build tools to migrate Terraform state between GCP organizations.

· Build tools that hook into Plato's Golang backend and cloud resources defined within the Kubernetes Resource Model (KRM) and migrate state between Plato instances.

· Build tools to migrate GitHub Secrets between GitHub repositories.

· Coordinate and perform these migrations.

Domain:

· Proficient in Terraform.

· Familiarity with KRM and GitHub Actions.

· Experience writing and testing production-grade tools (command-line or UI).

· [nice to have] Familiarity with GCP, GitHub Secrets, GCP Service Accounts.

· [nice to have] Relevant Certification, e.g. Terraform Associate, [GCP] Associate Cloud Engineer, [GCP] Professional Cloud Architect, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (or Application Developer).

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Phoenix, AZ 85016: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
